Cookie Policy

Which cookies starladigital.com uses, why, and how to switch analytics off.

Privacy Policy Terms and Conditions Cookie Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

1. The short version

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a short-lived security cookie. We do not use advertising, retargeting or social media tracking cookies.

Analytics is switched on in this browser.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in much the same way, so this policy covers them too.

3. Cookies on the Website

Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on every page. It does not set cookies, but your browser does send your IP address to Google when it downloads the fonts. The link to our LinkedIn page sets nothing unless you click it and visit LinkedIn, which then applies its own cookie policy.

4. Why there is no cookie banner

We use analytics only for aggregate statistics to improve the Website, and Google’s advertising features are switched off. UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025) allows cookies used only for this purpose without asking first, as long as we explain them clearly and you can object simply and free of charge. That is what the button above does.

Any other non-essential cookies would need your consent, and we would ask for it first.

5. How to control cookies

Use the Opt out of analytics button above. It applies to this browser only, so you will need to do it on each device you use. You can also install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block and delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Blocking cookies will not stop the Website from working.

6. More information

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including through Google Analytics.

If you have any questions about cookies on the Website, email freshthinking@voxlydigital.com.
